Offline forecast · NOAA weather station archives
A forecast that doesn’t need the internet
Download the archive of a nearby weather station once. The app finds the years when the weather ran the way it does now and shows what came next. It works on the road, in the mountains and during a blackout.

How it works
three steps, only the second needs a networkPick a station
The map holds 28,095 stations of the NOAA ISD network. No location permission needed.
Download the archive
Decades of hourly observations come straight from NOAA. The archive stays on your phone.
Get the forecast offline
The app finds analog years and works out temperature and the chance of precipitation for the days ahead.
What’s inside
interface in 15 languages- ISD-Lite · Global Hourly
A station archive in your pocket
Hourly observations for every year the station has worked, with year and month charts against the long-term normal. Free shows temperature and dew point; Pro adds pressure, wind, precipitation, cloud cover and more.
- WMO 4677
Weather codes and wind rose
The app decodes present-weather codes such as fog, thunderstorm or blizzard and shows where the wind usually blows from.
- MET · DWD · ECMWF · NWS
Check against models
When you have a connection, compare the offline forecast with MET Norway, DWD MOSMIX, ECMWF via FMI and NOAA NWS. Nothing is sent until you tap.
- barometer · Storm
Pressure from your phone
Logs the phone’s barometer at the step you choose, from 0.5 s to an hour, and sends a Storm alert when pressure falls 3 hPa or more within 3 hours. The log stays on the phone.
- NASA GIBS
Map layers
Relief, satellite colour and city lights from NASA. Areas you have viewed or saved open without a network.
- Δ from normalPro
Anomalies
How much warmer, wetter or windier this week or month is than the station’s normal.
- radius · regionPro
Neighbouring stations
A regional average or the stations within a chosen radius, for when the nearest record has gaps.
- gz · csv · zipPro
Your own files
Import gz, csv or zip archives, or a whole folder, without downloading them from NOAA again.
The air around you
The Monitor tab puts open sensor networks and hazard services on one map. Nearby points are grouped so the map stays readable. Every reading is saved to a log on the phone, so a chart builds up over time.
